Acupuncture is clinically safe for the treatment of chronic shoulder pain . It showed beneficial effects of contralateral acupuncture and trigger-points acupuncture by improving the pain threshold and function in treating chronic shoulder pain. Acupuncture for chronic shoulder pain found that acupuncture reduced 50% reduction for patients pain with visually improving Range of Movement(ROM) at 3 months

post-treatment and directly after the end of treatment.
